Happy Second Week of School! Thank you so much for coming out on Tuesday night to meet with your teachers. We want to function as a team, so communication is key. Thank you for partnering with us this year!
On Tuesday, I talked a little about our school verse for the year. This morning, I was pleasantly surprised to see our verse pop up as the Verse of the Day on my Bible app. Another great reminder to me that God directs our choice each year for the verse.
Be kind…I find it much easier to be kind to people who are kind to me but sadly my horns start to grow when someone is less than kind to me. I need to keep practicing kindness to everyone. Tenderhearted…I try to listen and understand before reacting but by the end of the day, my heart can lose its tenderness. I need to ask God for more help with my heart. Forgiving…this is the hardest one for me. This verse has simple words but I’ve yet to perfect these three concepts or even come close. Clearly, God knows I need to follow the direction of Ephesians 4:32 better. Please pray for me and all of us at Conejo as we work to improve our lives and the lives of others this year by practicing God’s advice for living.
