Merry Christmas! Time to celebrate the birth of our Savior and give thanks for His blessings! Even though the year has been difficult for a large variety of reasons, we still have so much to be thankful for and expressing that thankfulness helps us keep the difficulties in perspective.
This year held many milestones for me but not one of them was experienced in the way I imagined or originally planned. My son turned 21 in April and we spent the day at home but we got to celebrate together as a family since he was home from college for online learning. I also celebrated a milestone birthday this June and was surprised by great friends with a lunch out just a week before such an adventure would not have been possible. Today, my husband and I are celebrating our silver anniversary at home but we are healthy and will get to enjoy a tasty meal via Grubhub. Nothing has gone as planned this year but I’m still thankful for life and the promise of an even greater life void of difficulties!
Merry Christmas Conejo Family! Be safe and stay well. Enjoy your families and the many blessings we have here in our beautiful Conejo Valley. Christmas blessings, giant hugs, and peace to you all. See you in 2021!
Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Luke 2:10-11 NIV
