The final month of school has begun and the list of things I need to accomplish prior to the last day of school is growing and my mind is in a spin. April was just a blur for me because I was away from school multiple days for meetings and classes and now it is May. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I always appreciated Pastor Cameron’s greeting, “How are your spirits today?” So let me ask you today, “How are your spirits?” It is May and new everything is on the horizon. The summer brings a new routine, new places to be, new people to be with, new everything. New can be a very welcome change but it can also bring anxiety of the unknown and anxiety can cause a world of issues. As we head into this busy end of the school year approaching everything new, check in with your kids and people around you. “How are your spirits today?”
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 NIV
