Happy Thursday Conejo Family!
I’m missing all of you, especially your kids this summer. A few of our students are at the camp on campus though so I’m still the recipient of a few hugs each day and that makes me happy!
There is great news to share today! Last night, the board voted to hire Mary Lemasters Tahir to teach 6th grade this year! We are excited to welcome her to our campus and know she is part of God’s plan for our school. Mrs. Tahir has worked with children for many years in various capacities. She has been a home-school teacher, co-op teacher, math tutor, children’s minister, Vacation Bible School leader, and more. Mrs. Tahir is a fun-loving warm person and values people and relationships. We are blessed to have her join us this year!
On Friday, August 18th, we will have a Meet & Greet from 6-8 PM here on our campus and light refreshments will be served. I hope everyone can stop by to meet our new staff members and reconnect with school families before school begins on Monday, August 21st.
