And it’s Thursday again…here is my week in a nutshell. Rain, jury duty, rain, fever, sleep, fever, sleep, all-day Zoom meeting, sleep, school. How was your week? I hope it was filled with more events and less sickness. This week was just another one of those battles to face and in the grand scheme of life, just a small slice of inconvenience. 
 
This week I’m grateful for Zoom that allowed me to participate in an important day from my bed. I’m grateful for the abundance of rain but more grateful for no flooding or damage at my home or at school. I’m grateful for a staff that fills in the gaps when I’m not present. I’m grateful for sweet drawings and notes of love found on my desk this morning from students. I’m grateful for green hills and the promise of the coming spring. Next week will bring more challenges, but I’m grateful for those challenges and the opportunity they bring to appreciate the little things I so often take for granted.
