Happy Perfect Square Day Conejo Family! Today is the last day that the month, day, and year will each be a perfect square until April 4, 2036. But even that date only works for the abbreviated year of 36. The abbreviated year, 25, and the full year, 2025, are both perfect squares but the next time that will take place won’t be until 2116! September 25, 2025, is a momentous day!
I love the symmetry and patterns found in numbers and it makes me a little sad when my students don’t share the same joy. Do you ever experience a feeling of disappointment when you share your joy with someone who doesn’t quite understand your excitement? I do but I’m enthusiastic anyway. However, I’m blessed to work in an environment where I get to experience the excitement of joy with students almost daily. Mrs. Lew! Look at this stick I found. Mrs. Lew! Watch me write my name. Mrs. Lew! I lost a tooth. Mrs. Lew! I got all my spelling words right this week. Joy in accomplishment and joy in discoveries.
