A huge thank you to everyone who was able to attend the church service last weekend. It was my privilege to spotlight our kids up front to sing and to share about our mission trip. I know I’ve said it multiple times, but the mission trip really has given me a different perspective about everyday life and the sermon last week reinforced that mindset for me. We should live life praising God, celebrating His goodness, and the soon return of Jesus! It is so easy to get caught in the details of the world and forget about the big picture.
Speaking of perspective and the big picture, I’m so excited about starting Conejo Conversations next fall. The final details are not ready yet, however, the topic of our first meeting will be about the book, The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. I highly encourage you to pick up a copy and start reading this book. His research and findings are so relevant to us today and especially for parents. Trust me, this is a book you need to read because our kids are important.
