CAES welcomes students from China each year for a Winter Camp. Our students look forward to this two-week experience. For the 2019-2020 school year, students from China have enrolled for the entire year. We plan to expand our international student population.
2018-2019 Winter Camp
Step One: The applicant must submit an application and school transcripts translated into English.
Step Two: The Principal will contact the applicant and conduct an interview via Skype or in person.
Step Three: The Principal will call the guardian with the acceptance notification. At this point, the applicant will pay the $150.00 non-refundable application fee and submit the International Contact Information with all the registration forms (provided through email) and a copy of the student's passport to verify date of birth.
Step Four: The I-20 and acceptance letter will be given to the guardian.
Step Five: Upon receiving the I-20 form, the guardian should immediately contact their agent or embassy to set up an appointment to apply for an F-1 student visa.
Step Six: After receipt of the visa, the year's tuition and other fees must be paid in full prior the student's arrival for school.
NOTE: CAES is not responsible for a student's host family. The school recommends that families work with an agent from their home country as a liaison between home and school. Families must be prepared to show bank account information to prove their ability to pay the total amount of host family and tuition fees in order to obtain an F-1 visa.
